Our Story
Artistry vs. Commodity
Drew and Kara Bott are the drivers behind Bott Monument and have been instrumental in placing Bott Monument in the vanguard of memorial art. “There are just too many cookie-cutter monument shops out there,“ Drew said, “and we felt if there was going to be a change, it may as well start with us.”
Drew Bott believes that a memorial purchase should not be treated like an of-the-shelf item. Too many companies have row upon row of similar shaped, standard monuments with clipart designs, ugly fonts and lots of black or white paint. “If your loved one didn’t come out of a catalog, why should your final tribute? I prefer to partner with families and create something that has meaning.“
Drew and Kara have worked side-by-side since 2008 and absolutely love it. Kara digs, lifts and pulls right along with Drew. Every day they seek to innovate, improvise and improve the monument industry. They believe that the family that works together, stays together and they wouldn’t want it any other way.

The Rest of Our Team
Elsie
Foreman
Elsie is the oldest of the group. She handles what mom and dad can’t. When she’s not busy helping her sisters, you will most often find her nose in a book.
Kendra
Assistant Foreman
Kendra is the active one, and when she’s not doing cartwheels through the cemetery, she’s helping Mom unload the 4-wheeler.
Ali
Assistant to the Assistant
Ali loves helping everyone with everything, but if it were up to her, she’d be the company photographer and dog lover.
